My name is Jelisa Adair and I cannot wait to join you on your journey. I enjoy working with clients across many axes of difference, however I specialize in working with the following populations:

  • Clients experiencing identity transitions, such as (but not limited to) emerging/young adults

  • Academia: including undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff working in higher education

  • Clients belonging to marginalized communities such as (but not limited to) the BIPOC community, the LGBTQIA+ community, and polyamorous/non-monogamous community community

  • Clients who identify as gifted, highly sensitive, and/or neurodivergent

  • I have been working in clinical social work since 2016. I have worked as a clinician at several universities including Framingham State University, Emerson College, and Boston University. I established my private practice in 2019, while continuing to work full-time in higher education. I have been in full-time private practice since 2026.
